These dedicated volunteers selflessly put their lives on hold to serve the community whenever duty calls. Volunteer firefighters are alerted by pagers, ensuring they are always ready to respond at a moment's notice. The current pagers utilized by Monroe Fire Company have become obsolete and new digital pagers must be purchased to remain compatible with the Cumberland County 911 communications system. The commitment and quick response of volunteer firefighters is vital to the safety of our community. Without the invaluable service of these volunteers, the efficiency and effectiveness of emergency response would be greatly diminished.
