Record Request
Request a Fire Report
A fire incident report is generated by the fire company for every response to an emergency incident. Fire incident reports are official records and generally available upon request. According to the Pennsylvania Office of Open Records, a volunteer fire company is not necessarily subject to the Right-to-Know Law.
To request a copy of a fire incident report:
Submit the record request form below with details related to the incident.
Submit payment of $75.00 for each incident report.
Checks should be made payable to Monroe Fire Company and mailed to: 1225 Peffer Road, Mechanicsburg, PA 17055.
Online payment is available. Enter "Record Request Fee" in the memo line in the payment processing system.
Allow 6-8 weeks to receive a copy of the fire report or notice of no record available.
Medical Emergencies:
The fire company is a separate entity and not affiliated with the ambulance services that provide emergency medical services such as: patient assessment, treatment and/or ambulance transport. Only limited information will be available in a fire incident report related to medical emergencies. It is recommended record requests related to medical emergencies be directed to the appropriate ambulance service as a request for an EMS patient care report.
