ALERT - ELEVATED FIRE DANGER RATING
Billing Information
Monroe Township codified an ordinance which enables Monroe Fire Company to bill for services.
Beginning March 1, 2025 and retroactively two years prior, bills will be generated for following incident types:
Auto Accident Into the Building
Auto Accident No Injuries
Auto Accident With Entrapment
Auto Accident With Injuries
Hazardous Materials Incidents (in cooperation with Cumberland County Hazmat Team)
Incidents with an excess of $500 in consumable supplies or similar expenses.
A bill is generated by a third-party billing company which is submitted to the appropriate insurance company. When payments from the insurance company are received, the fire company will receive revenue to offset its operating expenses. Individuals will not be billed directly in the event the insurance company denies the claim.
