9th- Mini-Pumper 25 Takes 1st at 89th Annual Dauphin Co Convention
Keeping with a
long-lived tradition at the 25 house, Mini-Pumper 25 brought
home another 1st place trophy for our overcrowed
display case. MP 25 received top honors in the category of
"Most Functional Brush/Attack" unit at the 89th
Annual Dauphin County Convention.
June
27th- Transfer: Hampden Station 2
Engine 25 was
requested to transfer to Company
30, station 2 during the regular meeting of the Monroe
Fire Company. E25 (Farrell) and crew (Lt. Beecher, FF Snyder,
FF Anschutz) covered Company 30's Sporting Hill house for
several hours while 30 battled a house fire on Summit
Way in the 30-08 box. While on transfer assignment,
E25 covered a medical assist call for Co. 30.

23rd- Monroe Twp Community Day
Another
year, another successful Community Day. A special thank you
to all who helped, especially those involved with the Chicken
Barbeque, which was a sell-out - again. Also - to those who
stopped by our fire prevention and fund raising tent, thank
you for your continued support. The day ended with a spectacular
fireworks display that is arguably one of the best in the
area.
