February 2007 Incidents

February 18 - Fatal MVA w/ Double Entrapment, Rt 174 & W. Lisburn RD

Engine Company 25 and Rescue 27 were alerted to a reported MVA with rollover and entrapment at the intersection of Rt 174 and W. Lisburn RD. Chief 225 established command, confirmed two patients were entrapped and requested Co 33 - New Kingstown for LZ operations. Following extrication, Lifelion transported one patient to Hershey Medical Center, unfortunately, the second entrapped patient died at the scene. Two other patients were transported by ground to a local hospital.

 

February 22 - Tanker 25 in Service!


Just after 16:00 the new Tanker 25 went in service.


February 25 - Ziegler Brother's Feed Mill, Adams County Box 8-12

Just before 1100 hours, Tanker 25 was alerted to assist Adams County Co 8 with a commercial building fire at Ziegler Brother's Feed Mill.


February 23 - House Fire, Box 23-06

Less than 12 hours after going in service, Tanker 25 was alerted to assist with a house fire at 625 E. Lisburn Rd in Upper Allen Twp. Less than an hour later E25 was requested to establish a fill site in the Allenview neighborhood. While on the incident, Tanker 19 transferred to cover the 25 house, during which time they were alerted to a reported tree down in W. Lisburn RD. U25 handled the incident. A special "thank you" to the 19 crew for getting out of bed!
