Williams Grove RD Crash with Entrapment

May 13 – Engine 25 and Rescue 27 (Citizens’ – Mechanicsburg) were dispatched to West Lisburn RD and Williams Grove RD for an auto accident with entrapment at 18:09. Units arrived and found an Allegro RV had side-impacted a Buick Regal with a teenage female occupant trapped in the front passenger seat. R27 arrived and began patient removal as crew tended to the other injured subjects at the scene. E127 was dispatched to establish a landing zone at the West Shore Evangelical Free Church, located a short distance from the scene. The driver of the Buick, though able to self-extricate, was flown to Hershey Medical Center. The passenger was also flown to the hospital after she was freed from the wreckage. Two occupants from the motor home were transported by ambulance to a local hospital for treatment of their injuries.
