April 15 – Monroe Fire Company responded on a mutual aid assignment to a RV fire on Route 15 in Carroll Township, York County.

Engine 25 and Chief 125 (Farrell) arrived on scene first to find a well involved Class A Motor Home that was also towing a Jeep Wrangler. C125 assumed command and Engine 25’s crew place a hand line in service to extinguish the fire. While working on the initial fire attack, the motor home’s propane tank began to vent fire. Attack crews backed off and Tanker 25’s deck gun was placed in service to knock down the fire. Squad 23 (Upper Allen) arrived and placed a second hand line in service.
