Car Fire Ends the Work Week

July 26th – Company 25 responded to two fire incidents this morning, the first at 8:18 a.m.  Headquarters dispatched an unknown type fire outside in the 100 block of Brindle Road.  Chief 25 arrived on scene to find evidence of a small fire that had burnt itself out.  The cause was believed to be spilled gasoline in the area of a paving job.  Chief 25 placed the box available at 8:22 a.m.

At 8:26 a.m. Headquarters dispatched a car fire in the area of Sinclair Road and W. Trindle Road.  Additional callers reported the incident was at Sinclair Road and Tamanini Way.  Chief 25 arrived and confirmed a working car fire and knocked the fire down using a fire extinguisher.  Mini-Pumper 25 arrived shortly after and pulled the booster line to completely extinguish the fire.  Engine 25 also responded on the car fire.

No one was injured in the fire.  Pennsylvania State Police are investigating.  Command 25 placed the box available at 8:54 a.m.
