Blake Lawrence 1970 – 2011

Dec 19th – Today we remember Blake Lawrence who passed away following a courageous battle with cancer.  Blake was a firefighter and past officer with Citizens’ Fire Company of Mechanicsburg (Co. 27).  He was also a 9-1-1 dispatcher for the Cumberland County Dept. of Public Safety.  Blake was a loving husband and father.  We would …

Crash on the Border

Dec 3 – Companies 25 and 33 (New Kingstown) were dispatched to an auto accident at the intersection of Boiling Springs RD and W Trindle RD at 09:44 today.  Two people were transported to local hospitals as a result of the accident.  Crews assisted with patient care and debris removal.  Units cleared the incident at …
