Transfer to Hampden; Crash on the Pike

April 8th – Engine 25 was requested to transfer to Hampden Station 2 while they operated at a house fire.  While covering thier area, Engine 25 and Dauphin Rescue 40 (also a transfer assignment) were dispatched to a motor vehicle accident involving a motorcycle in the 6200 block of the Carlisle Pike.

April 6 – Assistant Fire Chief (Chief 2-25) Clint Murphy and his wife Brooke welcomed their first daughter into the world on April 6, 2009. Jillian Annetti was born at 19:23 hours at Holy Spirit Hospital.  She weighed 7 pounds 1 ounce and was 20 inches long. Mom, dad and baby are all doing fine …
