2020 Fire Company Leadership Announced

2020 brings several changes to the officers of Monroe Fire Company. Changes this year include Jon McKinzie as Vice President of the Company; Christopher Wilkening as Deputy Fire Chief, and Heath Swab as Assistant Fire Chief. Historic Rumsey Engine Pumps Again

June 29th – Monroe Fire Company recently loaned its historic Rumsey hand-pump fire apparatus to a historical exhibit at Fort Hunter Mansion and Park. Blast from the Past – Union Fire Company of Churchtown

February 10 – Here is a photo of the first known fire house in Monroe Township.  This structure – a bit worse for wear at the time of this image – was located on High Street in the Village of Churchtown and housed the fire company’s two hand-drawn fire engines.
